Aux Petits Soins is currently looking for French culture aficionados who want to help us expand our outreach efforts and unite the Lansing area’s growing French community. This will involve helping out at the Aux Petits Soins office, helping maintain our social media accounts, and volunteering at our monthly get-togethers. We are also looking for a native French speaker who can help us develop our adult language immersion program. This will involve working with adults with some or little French language experience and taking part in weekly French conversation groups in social sites around town. Finally, we are seeking individuals who can help us write grants, organize fundraisers, and find other creative ways to elevate Aux Petits Soins, both financially and in the eyes of the community. Or if you prefer to donate money instead of time, you can do that here. Our single biggest financial goal is stocking our library with children’s books, which will cost about $7,000. You can order books directly from our Wish List, but if you go this route, please let us know in advance — because we’re not open full time, we can’t receive packages directly at Aux Petits Soins, and there’s a risk that we might miss a shipment. If you want to order a book, please send us an email and we can work out a delivery method.
