The APS Travel Bugs program runs September 18, 2023 to June 9, 2024. Students can enroll until December 31, 2023. Students enrolled in a group class, meet weekly for a 60-minute group. Students enrolled in a group class can also add a weekly 30-minute private tutoring class. No prior knowledge of French is required to enroll in this program.
During the summer, Travel Bugs students are encouraged to join the Summer French Club program. The 6-week session runs July 10 – August 20, 2023.
We use the Listen. Absorb. Speak.™ method to teach French in an immersive environment. At this level, students will increase their French knowledge through more independent activities, such as reading, storytelling, art and culture lessons. APS Travel Bugs™ are given task-oriented and multi-sensory activities that allow them to use their French in a specific context.
The APS Travel Bugs™ syllabus has been specially designed to pique the interest of students and encourage them to be active learners. Phonetic and grammar rules may occasionally be introduced, based on the questions raised by the students. You can review the syllabus here.
