Running from September 14, 2026, to May 28, 2027, the APS World Citizens™ program is designed for students with prior knowledge of French who are ready to continue their language journey. Learners can choose to enroll in a group class, which meets weekly for 60 minutes, or opt for private instruction. Enrollment is flexible –families can choose to register for a single session or the full school year at a discounted price (coupon code: FY27WC).
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The APS World Citizens™ program follows the Listen. Absorb. Speak.™ method in a fully immersive French environment. At this level, students learn to read, write, and engage in basic conversation. With a consistent commitment to 10–15 minutes of daily practice and 1–2 hours of weekly homework, students can expect to reach fluency by the end of the program.
The curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to spark curiosity and promote active learning. It emphasizes mastery of grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and verb conjugation—guiding students to build a strong foundation in both written and spoken French. Inspired by the way French children learn their own language, this program immerses learners in the structure and nuance of authentic French. You can review the syllabus here.

During the summer, we offer a French Club (June 22 – July 31, 2026).
School year 2026-2027
The APS World Citizens program is divided into three sessions. You can choose to register for a single session or the full school year at a discounted price (coupon code: FY27WC)
- Fall Session: September 14 – December 11, 2026 (no class October 26–31 and November 23–27. These weeks may be used for make-up classes.)
- Winter Session: January 4 – March 26, 2027 (no class February 8–12. This week may be used for make-up classes.)
- Spring Session: April 5 – May 28, 2027.
Group class schedule by age group:
- World Citizens I (Grades K–2) – Thursdays at 6 p.m.
- World Citizens II (Grades 3–5) – Wednesdays at 5 p.m.
- World Citizens III (Grades 6–8) – Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
- World Citizens IV (Grades 9–12) – Mondays at 5:45 p.m.
